Wilderness Park Lodge

Overlooking Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, the entirely non-smoking Park Lodge serves a complimentary Continental breakfast and has free Wi-Fi at the lobby. The simple Japanese-style rooms have lake views and shared bathrooms.
Guests at Wilderness Park Lodge sleep on a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor in futon bedding. Rooms include heating facilities and a fan for warm weather use, while toilets are shared and towels can be rented. Each room has a low table with floor cushions.
Kawaguchiko Train Station is a 10-minute drive away, and a free shuttle is available from 07:30-09:00 and 17:00-21:00. A public hot-spring bath is a 15-minute walk away, and Ukai Kawaguchiko Musical Clock Forest is 2 km away. On-site parking is free.
Canoeing and fishing can be enjoyed at the nearby lakeshore, and hiking and cycling opportunities are nearby. Guests can rent a bicycle and explore, or use the on-site barbecue facilities. A free-use internet PC is available.
A Western-style dinner can be served for a fee at Owl Restaurant & Pub if ordered in advance.
