Genjiko

Located right on Ise Bay, Genjiko boasts outdoor hot-spring baths and Japanese rooms with ocean views. Total Spa offers beauty treatments and massages, and guests can unwind in a sauna. Free-use bicycles are on site, and a free shuttle service is available from Kowa Station.
Guests at Genjiko can unwind in public or private hot-spring baths, browse the souvenir shop or take a stroll along the beach. The ryokan offers the unique experience to wear a Juni-hitoe kimono, as worn by nobility in the Heian period.
The living area in the rooms has a tatami (woven-straw) floor, Japanese decorations and low furniture. All rooms come with a flat-screen TV, seating area and a private bathroom, while some boast a private outdoor hot-spring bath. Rooms have either beds or traditional futon bedding, and yukata robes are provided.
A Japanese dinner featuring seasonal specialities is served at dining room Miotsukushi, which offers sea views. Guests can choose a Japanese or Western breakfast. If you like a private cocktail, the bartender will mix at your guestroom, upon reservation (at a charge).
Genjiko is around 8 minutes with the complimentary shuttle, from Kowa Train Station.
