Shiki no Yado Michinokuan

At Shiki no Yado Michinokuan, guests can refresh in the public hot-spring baths and stay in rooms with traditional decor. Massages can be requested for an extra cost and traditional multi-course meals can be enjoyed. JR Shiraishi Zao Train Station is a 15-minute drive away.
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding or in Western beds. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and a fridge, while Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests. Some rooms come with a private open-air bath.
Local souvenirs can be purchased at the gift shop and luggage storage is offered at the front desk. Free parking is available on site. Guests can relax in the cypress, stone or open-air public hot-spring baths.
Local seafood dishes and Sanriku beef are served for dinner. All meals are offered at the guests’ rooms.
Michinokuan Shiki no Yado is a 15-minute drive from Shiraishi Castle and a 1-hour drive from the Okama Crater Lake in the Zao Mountain Range.
