Minshuku Iwatakan

Offering indoor and open-air hot-spring baths, free Wi-Fi throughout and a Japanese-style breakfast and dinner, Minshuku Iwatakan is about 8 minutes from JR Takayama Train Station on the free shuttle. Free on-site parking is provided.
Guests sleep in traditional style, in futon bedding atop a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Each room is air-conditioned and includes a TV. Toilets are shared, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths.
You can use one of the free-use bicycles to explore Takayama, or check your email at the free-use internet PC.
Minshuku Iwatakan Inn is a 15-minute walk from Yatai Kaikan, which exhibits elaborate, ancient festival floats. The Miyagawa Asaichi Morning Market is a 10-minute walk away. Old Town Takayama is about a 15-minute walk away.
Meals must be reserved at least 1 day in advance and require an extra fee. They are served at the dining room.
