Yakenoyu Kan

Offering indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, Yakenoyu Kan offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi and views of the traditional garden. Guests can take a public bus from Hirayu Bus Terminal or JR Takayama Train Station to Shinhodaka Onsen, and get off at Nakao Kogen Omocha Hakubutsukan Bus Stop which is just steps away from the Ryokan.
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. All rooms come with a TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Includes a private toilet but bathrooms are shared. Japanese Yukata robes are provided for all guests.
Guests can purchase local gifts at the souvenir shop and use the drink vending machines. You can sit out and relax in the traditional garden as well.
A Japanese set-menu featuring local vegetables and fresh seafood are offered for breakfast and dinner. All meals are served at the dining room.
Yakenoyukan Ryokan is a 60-minute bus ride from JR Nagoya Train Station, and a 60-minute drive from Mt. Norikura. The lush Kamikochi area is accessible via a 45-minute drive.
