Overlooking Mount Fuji and Lake Yamanaka, rooms at the family-run Kikuya have a Japanese-style or Western interior. The property has a tennis court, a café and a terrace. Bicycle rentals are available and the lobby offers free Wi-Fi.
Kikuya is only a 15-minute drive from Mount Fuji’s Yoshida climbing trail, as well as from amusement park Fujikyu Highland. Fujiten Snow Resort is only a 20-minute drive, while Fuji Yoshida Train Station is a 15-minute drive. From Yamanakako Exit, the property is a 3-minute drive. Free parking is available.
Guests at Kikuya can use the property’s tennis court at a special discount, while activities like water skiing, banana boat riding and soba-noodle making classes can be arranged upon request. The property offers laundry services.
Rooms have either carpeting and beds, or a tatami (woven-straw) floor with traditional futon bedding. They’re equipped with air conditioning, heating and a TV, while yukata robes are provided.
A Japanese breakfast and dinner can be ordered at Kikuya’s restaurant, which offers a range of Japanese favourites. Its ramen noodles featuring mineral water from Mount Fuji has received the local media's praise.
