Hasuwa

Featuring hot-spring baths and a Japanese garden, the completely non-smoking Hasuwa Ryokan is just 50 metres from the picturesque Oita River. Free-use bicycles are offered. Small dogs can stay, for a fee.
The air-conditioned Japanese rooms at Hasuwa have tatami (woven-straw) floors and traditional futon beds. Each room comes with a tea maker, fridge and attached toilet. Bathrooms are shared.
JR Yufuin Train Station is 800 metres from ryokan Hasuwa. Ogosha Shrine, Kinrinko Lake and the Mark Chagall Museum are all 2 km away.
A private hot-spring bath can be reserved, free of charge. The ryokan does not serve meals.
