Beniya

Historically built in the Meiji era, Beniya offers public indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and Japanese-style accommodations with traditional garden views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas and relaxing massages can be requested for an extra cost. JR Awara Onsen Train Station is a 15-minute drive away.
The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each room comes with a flat-screen satellite TV and a fridge. Japanese Yukata robes and slippers are provided for all guests. The en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer.
Guests can use the private reservable hot-spring bath and purchase local products at the souvenir shop. Free parking is available on-site.
Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner and a Japanese set menu for breakfast. All meals are served at the guests’ rooms.
Beniya Ryokan is a 20-minute drive from Lake Kitagata and a 15-minute drive from Shibamasa World. Maruoka Castle is a 30-minute drive away.
