Furumaya House

Situated in the peaceful countryside with lush greenery and wildflowers, Furumaya House provides charming Japanese-style guest rooms in a renovated thatched-roof farm house, which is more than 210 years old. This non-smoking property provides free Wi-Fi and free parking. JR Ayabe Station is a 15-minute bus ride away from the property. Free pick-up service from the station is also available upon request.
Looking out to the gardens, one unit is fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and traditional futon bedding. A low table and seating cushions are included, and bathroom and toilet are shared with other guests.
House Furumaya provides laundry facilities and free-use bicycles for guests’ convenience. A shared kitchen can be used to prepare meals. Barbecue facilities are available at an additional charge with an advance request.
