Katsuura Gyoen

Featuring outdoor hot-spring baths that look out on Nachi Bay and Nachi-no-Taki Waterfall, Katsuura Gyoen is a 12-minute walk from JR Kii-Katsuura Train Station. It boasts a seasonal outdoor pool and karaoke, and some rooms have a private outdoor hot-spring bath.
Traditional Japanese and spacious Western rooms are on offer at Katsuura Gyoen Hotel, all with air conditioning, an LCD TV and an en suite bathroom. Japanese-style rooms have futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor.
Seigantoji Temple, Kumano Nachi Taisha Shrine and Nachi Otaki Waterfall are all about a 20-minute drive from the property. On-site parking is free.
In addition to indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths, private reservable hot-spring baths are available for a fee. Unique local items can be found at the gift shop.
Guests in all rooms can experience a multi-course Kaiseki dinner of regional specialities in the privacy of their room. Some rooms also include an in-room Japanese breakfast, while others have a buffet breakfast at the dining room. A bar can also be found on site.
