Rendaijiso

Boasting an impressive 9 hot-spring baths, a Nakai-san personal attendant and Japanese multi-course dinners, Rendaijiso Ryokan is 10 minutes from Izukyu-Shimoda Train Station on the free shuttle. Rooms are Japanese-style, with traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor.
Each air-conditioned room at Rendaijiso looks out on the mountain greenery that surrounds the ryokan. Rooms have sliding paper screens and a low table with floor cushions. There is an en suite toilet, and guests bathe at the hot-spring baths.
The free shuttle from Izukyu-Shimoda Train Station runs from 14:00-18:00 and must be reserved at time of booking. Shuttles back to the station depart at 09:40 and 10:00. Ryosen-ji Temple, the Kurofune Museum of Art and Shimoda Kaichu Suizokukan Aquarium are all about 4 km away, and the ryokan offers free parking if reserved in advance.
Indoor, open-air and free-use private hot-spring baths are available, with private baths operating on a first-come, first-served system (reservations not possible). Guests can also relax with a massage.
Breakfast and dinner are available for an extra fee, and must be reserved at time of booking. Meals are served in-room for groups of 2-3, and at a private dining room for groups of 4.
